Museo de Arte de Tlaxcala (MAT)

The Art Museum is housed in a historic property constructed in 1898, which served as a District Court for several decades.

The museum aims to present contemporary trends in national and international visual arts. The exhibition highlights a collection of six early works by Frida Kahlo, created between 1923 and 1927.

It has five temporary exhibition halls and a center for documentation, research, analysis, and registration of visual arts in Tlaxcala.

Hours

Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs. Fridays from 18:00 to 22:00 hrs.
