Museo Casa de Hidalgo
It is housed in a beautiful mansion from the 18th century.
This house was occupied by Miguel Hidalgo while he lived in Dolores Hidalgo.
During that time, the property was known as the "Casa del Diezmo (House of the Tithe)."
The house consists of a square courtyard surrounded by rooms.
After serving various functions, it became a museum in 1946, recreating the atmosphere and furniture of the pre-Independence era. It exhibits objects such as priestly vestments, a banner of the Virgin of Guadalupe, and the funerary urn with the remains of the Independence hero, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla.
Additionally, you can visit a colonial orchard.
