Adobe House Museum
It is a reconstruction of the house that served as the Provisional Office of the revolutionary president Francisco I. Madero in April-May 1911.
The Adobe House Museum (historical site museum) is located between Monument No. 1 (out of the 258 that divide the Mexico-United States border, where the states of Chihuahua, Texas, and New Mexico meet) and the 13 gates of the Rio Grande.
This house was located in the so-called Rancho Flores, which also served as a military camp for the revolutionary army under the orders of General Pascual Orozco, who led the battle for the capture of Ciudad Juárez from May 8th to 10th, 1911.
The result of this battle led to the signing of peace treaties on the 21st at the border customs and resulted in the resignation of the constitutional president Porfirio Díaz Mori, who had governed Mexico since 1876.
Since 2011, in the framework of the centennial commemoration of these historical events, the city was designated as Heroica Ciudad Juárez, and this museum was inaugurated, showcasing various antique items that are representative of Mexican culture.
There is also a series of photographs that allow you to learn more about the significant events surrounding the history of this magical place.
