Archaeological Museum of Xochimilco

It is housed in a Porfirian-era building surrounded by beautiful gardens.

The construction is located near the remains of what was once a Nahuatl culture settlement.

It has two exhibition halls where you can observe a collection of over 2400 pre-Hispanic pieces, both made of clay and stone. One notable piece is the Cuahilama map stone, which depicts the temples, canals, and springs of the area.

The exhibition also includes the remains of mammoths and other fossils from the Pleistocene era.
