Archaeological Museum of Caxitlan
In this museum, you can learn more about the history of the region, and it is located inside the House of Culture.
It consists of four rooms: The Shamans, La Capacha, The Room of Good and Evil, and the Shaft Tomb. The first one provides a general geographical overview, the second showcases the region of the state of Colima and the northern coast of Michoacán, the third discusses the gifts from the sky and the earth, as well as religion in general, and the fourth displays rituals and myths.
The exhibition features around 200 pieces, including items found in various funerary offerings and tombs.
