Iglesia de San Juan de Dios
Built in 1675 by the Order of St. John of God, who initially dedicated themselves to caring for the sick.
The Church of "San Juan de Dios" was constructed with the charity of the port's inhabitants and the donations made by sailors and soldiers from the ships that docked at the port.
In the late 19th century, it was transformed into the "Manuel Campos" hospital. The building was destroyed in the 1960s, and public buildings were constructed in its place. The only thing that was preserved was the hospital church, a simple building without significant artistic embellishments.
