Iglesia de San Jacinto
San Jacinto Church was founded in 1604 by the Dominicans, it is the headquarters of the Primatial Archdiocese of Mexico VI Episcopal Vicariate.
The facade features the shield of the Order of Saint Dominic.
Inside, there is a nave with a dome, and its beautiful main altarpiece was elaborated in the Churrigueresque style. It also preserves paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries.
It has an attractive atrium with gardens where some of the earliest crosses carved in Mexico can be appreciated.
