This building began construction in 1592 and was completed in 1615.

Next to the temple is the ex-convent, after a quite spacious cobblestone atrium.

The interior garden is surrounded by 16 Tuscan columns and arches that support the two floors of the building. The surrounding corridors are beautifully decorated with a frieze, the Franciscan cord, and floral motifs.

Here, you can travel back in time by visiting its historically rich rooms, kitchen, prayer room, and cells. A sink located on the upper part, embedded in the wall, stands out, as well as the paintings depicting vine cultivation.

The Temple of San Francisco has a single nave and a simple façade adorned with a window at the choir level. It has a single tower with two levels.

Inside, the main altar features a wooden altarpiece painted in white with gold, and in its main niche, the image of San Francisco de Asís is located.
