Ermita de Guadalupe
Stone chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe, built at the top of Cerro del Ombligo, now known as Cerro de la Reina.
On this hill stood the indigenous observatory from which Cihualpilli Tzapotzintli watched over the Valley of Atemajac.
On one side, there is a representation of the apparition of the Virgin to the indigenous Juan Diego; the image is carved in quarry stone and adorned with natural plants and flowers.
It is a natural viewpoint from which you can appreciate a beautiful panoramic view of the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara.
