El Jardín de Dios
This natural area is located four kilometers from Tapijulapa and covers an area of 14 hectares, offering the splendor of a botanical garden.
It houses a collection of wonders, including medicinal plants such as the purple maguey, milk thistle, skunkbush, passionflower, and arnica, among others. Interestingly, there are also natural clinics where travelers can learn about herbs ideal for maintaining their health.
The garden also features aromatic plants, herbs, fruits, and vegetables, ranging from cocoa and noni to chaya, soursop, jicara, and amashito chili, which is widely used in Tabasco cuisine.
One of the highlights is a hanging bridge over the Amatán River.
