The Cultural Center is located in what used to be the Royal Convent of the Conception, also known as "Las Monjas" Convent.

It is a cultural center of the National Institute of Fine Arts housed in a beautiful colonial building with an impressive mural by David Alfaro Siqueiros.

The center offers classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, paper manufacturing, ceramics, piano, guitar, violin, solfege, classical ballet, and children's painting.

It hosts various exhibitions in the galleries on the ground floor.
