House of the Marquis of El Prado Alegre
In this building, there is a plaque that says: "This was the house of the Marquis of El Prado Alegre, built in 1725".
Its Baroque facade, made of carved tezontle with stone frames, is topped with the Marquis' coat of arms. On the corner, there is a niche with the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
The Marquis was also a councilor of the City of Mexico and promoted the use of pre-Hispanic techniques in goldsmithing.
