Casa del Capitán Juan de Chavarría
The building has a tezontle facade with stone frames.
Above the main entrance, there is a stone shield of Captain Juan de Chavarría, depicting a hand holding a Custodia.
Captain Chavarría risked his life to save the Custodia that was on the altar of the church of San Agustín when it was affected by a fire during a religious celebration attended by the Viceroy and many notable people on December 11, 1676.
