Casa de Ordaz (Ordaz House)
One of the most beautiful buildings constructed in Coyoacán during the 18th century.Â
Its facade still retains its original color. It is said that the house belonged to Diego de Ordaz, the daring Spanish soldier who climbed Popocatépetl to obtain sulfur for making gunpowder. However, approximately two centuries passed between the conquest's feat and the construction of the house.
