Baluarte de San Juan
The bastion was the fourth bastion to be built, dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries.
Its construction was completed around the year 1698, and its structure resembles that of Santa Rosa, covering an area of 764 square meters.
It is a unique complex, as it is one of the few bastions that are part of the remains of a section of the great wall, allowing you to walk along the old sentry walk and imagine what the city must have been like during the colonial era.
