A monumental pink quarry archway, built in the late 18th century.
Through its archway, water was brought from "El Cubo" well to the fountain in Villarreal Square, currently known as Jardín Independencia (Independence Garden).
The archway is made of quarry masonry, which was remodeled and reinforced with 6 similar construction buttressed arches to match the original arches.
Currently, this monument is considered one of the symbols of the city.
