The arches can be seen at the entrance to Taxco.

They are part of the old aqueduct that supplied water to the Hacienda de El Chorrillo for silver processing.

Currently, these arches house the station where the cable car arrives, taking visitors to the hotel located at the top of La Cantera Hill.
