Acueducto de Chiconcuac (Aqueduct)

The aqueduct was part of the former Santa Catarina Hacienda in Chiconcuac and has a length of over 500 meters.

It was built in the 17th century, and some remnants of the hacienda, such as the old main house, spaces for sugar and honey production, the boiler house, the mill, and large courtyards, are still preserved.

In the 19th century, a second aqueduct was built to support the sugar production of the hacienda.

This is one of the four colonial aqueducts that are still preserved in Morelos.
