The Museum of Mexican Railroads is located in what used to be the Mexican railway station, dating back to 1869.

The museum exhibits a considerable collection of railway machinery (passenger cars, locomotives, cabooses, and freight cars) that reflect the development of science and technology since the introduction of railways in Mexico, as well as machinery and tools.

The museum also offers courses, workshops, conferences, and concerts.
