Parque Natural Chankanaab
It is a protected natural area covering almost 14 hectares of land. It features a natural aquarium called Chankanaab Lagoon, home to over 60 species of tropical fish, crustaceans, and corals.
Chankanaab is all about adventure, fun, tranquility, and safety. As it borders the Cozumel Reef National Park, it offers a marine area to explore the underwater world and admire the sculptures of the Virgin and the Christ.
Activities you can enjoy at this park include snorkeling, snuba diving, scuba diving, zip-lining, swimming with dolphins, sea trekking, interacting with manatees, and kayaking.
The park also offers a spa, a temazcal (sweat lodge), restaurants, and souvenir and craft shops.
