The lake is located in the crater of an ancient volcanic caldera. This peaceful lake is surrounded by abundant vegetation with large trees that protect the coffee plantations.

It has palapas, grills, umbrellas, playgrounds, a soccer field, and a restaurant, making it the ideal place to organize picnics by the lake.

Boat, kayak, and horse rental services are available, and for those who enjoy ecotourism, there are mountain hikes to explore the trails among coffee fields and discover some of the caves that have been dug for many years by the native people of the region to facilitate their passage through the slopes of the area.

Fishing for bass, carp, and tilapia is possible in the lake.

The park also offers cabins built with volcanic stone that help maintain a pleasant temperature, as well as camping areas with electricity, bathrooms, and security.
