"Wa-kuatay" Museum

Its name is in the Kumiai language and means "Grand House of the Great Chief."

The museum consists of five rooms and allows visitors to learn about the history and traditions of the region from prehistoric times.

Among the most important objects are mammoth tusks, artifacts, and crafts from the Yuman or Kumiai culture, as well as numerous documents that narrate the history of Rosarito.

There is an area that focuses on the Royal Missionary Road of the Californias.

The museum features an audiovisual room and a temporary exhibition room.

It is located within the Rosarito Beach hotel complex at Blvd. Benito Juárez 18, Centro, Playas de Rosarito, Baja California.
