Museo Nacional del Títere

The National Puppet Museum occupies part of a 19th-century house that belonged to the Barrientos Carvajal family.

Unique in its kind, it exhibits a brilliant collection of puppets and dolls that belonged to the Rosete Aranda brothers, famous puppeteers of the 19th century.

The eight rooms also include articulated pieces of pre-Hispanic origin found in the Cacaxtla and Xochitécatl areas, as well as puppets from India, Indonesia, Italy, England, Germany, Pakistan, and Spain.
