Installed in an old 18th-century house called "Casa del Campesino," which is one of the oldest civil buildings in the city.

The museum displays objects made by indigenous hands, aspects of popular expressions, and an ethnic vision of the region.

In what used to be the chapel of this house, you can observe an impressive mural depicting the "Narration of the History of Mexico until the Oil Expropriation."

The museum offers guided tours, conferences, concerts, and workshops. It also features an auditorium, bookstore, and restaurant.
