Museo del Vidrio, MUVI (Glass Museum)

The Glass Museum is the first and only museum of its kind in Latin America. It is located in a former industrial building of Vidriera Monterrey and showcases the history, work processes, and development of glass in Mexico, as well as some of the most beautiful glass pieces created in the country.

The first level features traditional European glass from the 16th to the 19th centuries, while the second level displays popular and industrial glass. This floor also houses a 19th-century pharmacy and the Pellandini-Marco stained glass.

The attic exhibits the permanent collection of contemporary glass art, featuring works by local, national, and international artists.

It offers guided tours, courses and workshops, diploma programs, an auditorium, a library, and temporary exhibition halls.
