Caracol Museum (Snail Museum)

It showcases the most significant events in the history of Mexico.

The museum features detailed models with excellent settings, ranging from the 16th century to 1917, in a beautiful helical building designed by architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez.

Its 12 rooms have the following themes: The Final Years of the Viceroyalty, Hidalgo's Epic, From Morelos to Mina, The Consummation of Independence, The Birth of the Republic, Mexico Struggles for Its Existence, The War of Reform and the French Intervention, Juárez's Resistance, The Triumph of the Republic, The Porfiriato Era, Madero, Toward the Constitution, and the Constitutional Hall.

The museum has a gift shop and offers guided tours.
