National Museum of the Revolution
The museum is located in the basement of the Revolution Monument.
This is one of the iconic buildings of Mexico City, where the crypts of some of the Revolution's figures like Villa, Madero, and Carranza are housed.
Throughout the museum's eight rooms, visitors feel part of history surrounded by dioramas, maps, documents, and photographs from the time of the Revolution.
The exhibition includes various objects, weapons, and newspapers from the era, as well as some details of the lives of its leaders, the participation of the famous "Adelitas," and the epic train mobilizations.
The topics addressed in the rooms include the site museum, consolidation of the Mexican state, the democratic revolution, the constitutionalist revolution, the popular revolution, the civil war and the constitution, the foundations of the new state, and Cardenismo.
It offers temporary exhibitions, guided tours, library, conferences, workshops, and courses.
