Museo de la Moneda (Numismatic Museum)

Through its collection, the museum allows you to take a journey through the history of Mexico.

It has an interesting exhibition of coins minted during the colonial era dating back to 1536, as well as coins from the Empire of Agustín de Iturbide, the Revolution, and modern times.

As a curious fact, this museum exhibits the largest coin ever minted in Mexico, the Moneda Libertad, which weighs one kilogram of pure .999 silver and has a diameter of 110 millimeters.
