Museo de la Ciudad Coronel Manuel Gutiérrez Zamora
The City Museum is located in the Historic Center, this beautiful neoclassical building dates back to 1857 and was part of the Gutiérrez Zamora hospice.
It has two floors and eight exhibition rooms that cover over four centuries of the city's history. Its collection consists of texts, images, documents, objects, models, and furniture with interactive devices that allow visitors to explore the exhibition in detail.
The temporary exhibition rooms and corridors regularly feature various painting, craft, fashion industry, archaeological, and sculpture exhibitions.
The Central Courtyard hosts cultural events such as concerts, theater performances, book presentations, recitals, and more. It also has an auditorium and a multipurpose room.
