Museo de Cultura Popular Ángel Enrique Gil Hermida

The Folk Art Museum is located in a typical early 20th-century house from the region.

It consists of three rooms where around 370 objects of Tabasco's popular art, popular and indigenous dances, and municipal and community ethnography are exhibited.

Among the featured products are musical instruments, carved gourds from Jalpa de Méndez, and different regional costumes.

The museum also showcases a sample of the Chontal house, featuring a hearth, a grinding stone, a wooden mill, and a cot, among many other objects.

Guided tours are available, and art courses and conferences are offered.
