Azcapotzalco Museum
This venue houses over 400 archaeological pieces found in the area.
The exhibition includes pottery vessels, spearheads, clay figurines, ear ornaments, documents, and incense burners, among others. Notably, there are pieces found in the center of Azcapotzalco that resemble those found in Teotihuacan.
The museum's rooms showcase remnants from the Pleistocene era when this region was inhabited by mastodons and mammoths, as well as evidence of early agricultural occupation (800 BC). It also explores the presence of the Tepanec civilization and the Mexica culture.
Other rooms exhibit objects from the Viceregal era, the Independence period, the Revolution, and the 20th century.
