Museo de Arte Prehispánico de México, Rufino Tamayo

The Pre-Hispanic Art Museum is located in a 17th-century house built with green quarry stone.

The museum exhibits over a thousand pre-Hispanic art pieces donated by Oaxacan painter Rufino Tamayo in its five rooms.

The uniqueness of the museum is that each room is identified by a color belonging to the master's color palette.

In the courtyard, there is a beautiful fountain with some sculptures.

Morelos 503, Centro Histórico, Oaxaca de Juárez, Oax.
