Its five rooms showcase Mexican traditions and art from the 32 states of the country.

Two rooms are reserved for the great masters of popular art.

The exhibition includes both ancient and recently created objects, showcasing works of basketry, maque, silverware, goldsmithing, textiles, tinwork, and wood or metal carving, to name a few.

There are also three additional rooms for temporary exhibitions.

The museum offers workshops, contests, seminars, and off-site activities.
