It is located in a beautiful 19th-century building that initially served as a residence and later as an educational center.

Its nine rooms exhibit pictorial works by the renowned Durango painter Ángel Zárraga, a great exponent of Mexican painting, as well as other important contemporary artists.

Important workshops in various art disciplines, concerts, conferences, and theater presentations are also held. It has a library and bookstore.
