Museo de Agrarismo Mexicano (Mexican Agrarianism)

One of the most avant-garde museums in the country and the only one with an agrarian theme.

This museum is very representative because Matamoros is considered the birthplace of agrarianism.

Its content is divided into four modules: The Porfiriato, The Revolution, Post-Revolutionary Reconstruction, and Cardenismo.

Among the pieces exhibited in the museum are agricultural implements, household utensils, and various items used during the first half of the 20th century, as well as ancient weapons, coins and banknotes from the Porfirian and Revolutionary era, photographs, and historical documents.
