Museo Casa Natal de Morelos
It is housed in a Baroque construction dating back to 1758.
José María Morelos y Pavón acquired it in 1801 and made some improvements. It currently functions as a museum displaying various objects that belonged to the leader of the Independence movement, such as furniture, letters, tableware, and two carriages.
Other objects from the time period are also exhibited, including tools for agricultural work, pistols, swords, and, on a very special space on the upper floor, a relic of a cloth that covered Morelos' eyes during his execution on December 22, 1815.
