Museo Casa de la Bola
It is located in what used to be the ancient Villa de San José de Tacubaya, which in the 16th century was an olive oil-producing estate.
In the 1940s, it was remodeled and decorated in a sumptuous and eclectic style, while preserving its viceregal architectural features.
Its central patio with wooden flooring is surrounded by corridors supported by quarry stone columns, and from here, you can appreciate the beautiful garden with three ponds and remnants of clay channels.
Currently, it consists of two floors where 13 rooms are filled with furniture, paintings, European tapestries dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. You can also appreciate books, chandeliers, animal skins, and other beautiful decorative objects.
It offers various spaces for events and has a conference room.
