It houses the Metropolitan Theater, an experimental theater, a temporary exhibition gallery, media facilities, a bookstore, and restaurants.

The Huasteca Culture Museum is also located here, with a collection of around 3,000 pieces representing the indigenous communities of the 6 states that make up the Huasteca region.
