Ecoparc
Formerly known as Metropolitan Regional Park, it was built on plantations that date back to the 19th century.
It is an extensive recreational area covered with lush fig, parota, palm, and mango trees.
It is divided into two sections: the first one functions as a water park and features a wave pool, a medium-sized pool, a kiddie pool, all of which are supplied with water from a deep well, as well as two slides.
The second section has an artificial lake with three islands, barbecue areas, dining areas, boat rentals for rowing, and a designated area for a zoo where various species can be found, such as white-tailed deer, lions, wild boars, raccoons, badgers, crocodiles, turkeys, hawks, golden and silver pheasants, kestrels, African pelicans, and more.
The park has a snack bar, tricycle rentals, showers, and restrooms.
