UNAM University Cultural Center
An architectural complex located in the southern part of Ciudad Universitaria (UNAM).
Three buildings rise around a fountain: the Juan Ruiz de Alarcón and Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Theater Unit, the complex comprising the Miguel Covarrubias dance hall, the cafeteria, the Julio Bracho and José Revueltas cinema rooms, the Cultural Outreach offices, and the Nezahualcóyotl concert hall.
The Cultural Center also includes the Sculptural Space, composed of several geometrically dispersed sculptures created by renowned artists such as Sebastián, Manuel Felguérez, and Federico Silva, among others.
To the north, there is the building that houses the National Library and Hemeroteca, as well as the Institute of Bibliographic Research.
The Sculptural Space is located in an extensive adjacent area.
