The museum is located in the house where Salvador Díaz Mirón, the illustrious poet, writer, and journalist from Veracruz, lived.

The museum displays various documents, furniture, and personal belongings of the poet.

This space is shared with the Literary Forum, which promotes and disseminates the literary, artistic, and cultural activities of the city.

There is an auditorium with a capacity for 60 people, where talks, book presentations, conferences, film screenings, poetry readings, and more are held.
