Archivo y Biblioteca Históricos de la Ciudad de Veracruz

The Historical Archive and Library of the City of Veracruz is an institution that safeguards, preserves, and rescues the historical documentary and bibliographic heritage of the city of Veracruz.

It houses historical documents ranging from the 17th to the 20th century. It also has other collections, such as the Third Order of San Francisco, the Huérfanas de Naranjo and Francisco Gil Work, the San Juan de Ulúa Prison, and the Graphic Collection.

The site museum displays old photographs of the building and the materials used in its construction.

Periodic temporary exhibitions with photographs, engravings, historical documents, and interesting old books are also mounted.
