The Municipal Historical Archive safeguards the heritage of the most important documents of the city of León.

Here you can find documents ranging from the 18th century to the 19th century, related to various topics such as urban planning, environment, culture, religious festivities, and health, among others.

It has a newspaper archive and a map collection with 3,859 geographical and historical maps of the central region of the country.
