Their facilities have 3 levels in the structure with 48 different exhibits that recreate the natural habitat of over 5,000 specimens from 230 species.
The entire aquarium is underground, so exploring its corridors and each of its floors is an unparalleled experience.
When visiting the aquarium, you can learn more about the Conservation Center and Reproduction Laboratory, where important efforts are made for the preservation of marine life.
The exhibits include:
Oceanarium
Oceanarium with over 100,000 liters of saltwater, where you can see 3 species of sharks along with rays and schools of different fish, as well as the green turtle.
Antarctica
Antarctica, where you can see two different Antarctic species of penguins, including Alex, a "chilango" penguin, meaning born in Mexico City.
T.A.P. Zone
In the T.A.P. Zone, which is a place where you touch, learn, and protect, you can interact with species such as starfish, turtles, albino frogs, doctorfish, and zebrafish, among many others.
