The Public Newspaper Library is located in the Santo Domingo Cultural Center.

Specifically, it occupies the former cavalry building, a more contemporary annex built in 1902 by the Dominicans.

It offers two reading rooms where you can consult the most important national and local newspapers, as well as other publications from around the world.

The materials available for consultation include newspapers from the past century to a wide variety of current newspapers and magazines.

It also provides several classrooms and an auditorium where various cultural events such as workshops, courses, plays, book presentations, and concerts are held, among others.

The space offers a cafeteria and a bookstore.
