Museo Regional de Antropología e Historia
This building, erected in the 18th century, belonged to the Counts of Miravalles and is considered a historical monument.
The building retains its original layout and features a beautiful courtyard with a fountain in the center. Its fine original carpentry and ironwork are also noteworthy.
The Anthropology and History Museum has eight exhibition halls where prehistoric animal bones are displayed, as well as exhibits on the origins of humanity. There is also a room dedicated to the Cora and Huichol peoples, showcasing their costumes, geography, work tools, crafts, beliefs, and way of life.
There is also a room displaying religious paintings from the colonial period of the 18th and 19th centuries.
