Xcaret
Xcaret is a paradise where the Mayan jungle and Mexican culture combine in over 40 exciting attractions. It is an ecological and archaeological park by the seaside, with underground rivers of crystal-clear waters flowing through caves and channels.
There is a cove, beaches, and natural pools, as well as cultural exhibitions such as the Charro Fiesta and the Mayan Ball Game, and natural attractions like the Jaguar Island, the coral reef aquarium, and the Butterfly Pavilion.
Here, you can witness expressions that are Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO, such as the Ritual Ceremony of the Flyers, the Traditional Pirekua Singing, the flavors of Traditional Mexican Cuisine, and the Mariachi. In the evenings, you can experience Xcaret México Espectacular: a show with 300 actors wearing original costumes on a majestic stage, with a vibrant atmosphere of light and color, showcasing traditional dances. In addition to the aforementioned attractions, there are activities with an additional cost, such as swimming with sharks, rays, dolphins, and more.
Xcaret also preserves 500 residential structures and over 60 Mayan temples located throughout the park, surrounded by the jungle.
