This is an unforgettable experience.
During the trip you have the opportunity to get to know the rich marine life of the island in a mini-submarine, the only one of its kind in Mexico.
The submarine has a panoramic bottom and submerges up to 33-meter (100 feet), to enjoy the beautiful reefs of the Chankanaab Park, in a calm and safe way.
While you are submerging you can get to know the underwater world, you can see hundreds of colorful fish, as well as lobsters, rays, sharks and turtles, among many others.
There is a route that explores the largest shipwreck in the area, the Felipe Xicotencatl, a 46 m long vessel located between 18-meter (59 feet) and 25-meter (82 feet) deep. The ship was intentionally scuttled in 2000 to create an artificial coral bank. It was originally a United States Navy minesweeper and was later sold to the Mexican Navy.
The submarine is battery-powered, air-conditioned, and non-pressurized.
The crew is totally professional and experienced and throughout the journey they will tell you everything you need to know about the underwater life.
