This church dates back to 1799 and is a beautiful chapel built by the Franciscans.
Next to it, there is a former convent constructed between 1803 and 1828. However, the Franciscans were expelled from the convent in 1860 due to the Reform Laws. Since then, it has had various uses, including being a tenement until 1993.
Visitors can explore the convent and discover the cloisters, cells, corridors, as well as the basement and refectory. It is a way to understand how the friars lived in past centuries.
