Acapulco is known as one of the best places to try out water skiing.

Pie de la Cuesta, few kilometers north of Acapulco, is a long beach and is ideal for this sports. Every year there is a championship in the month of May. Other good options are Tres Palos Lagoon and Puerto Marqués.
